Jack Dean (born March 7, 1993[1]), better known by his online alias JaackMaate, is a British YouTuber, actor, podcaster and internet personality based in Norwich.[2] Jacks content is noted for both his videos focusing around internet culture, reality shows and his distaste for 'You-tubers'. After many previous failed attempts to establish a podcast in 2019. Jack created the podcast 'Happy Hour'[3] alongside Stevie White and Alex Elmslie (ImAlex). In September 2020 the happy hour podcast became a Spotify Exclusive[4] and soon topped the podcast charts for comedy in the UK and sat third in the overall UK Spotify podcast charts. The podcast has had many notable guests including KSI, Ben Foster and Ricky Gervais. According to the Sunday Times in 2019, Jack is the 88th top influencer in the UK.[5]

Jack Carl Dean was born on March 7, 1993, in Norwich, England. Jack often speaks about his parents who had a big influence on his way of life.
He is cousin to Norfolk based rapper Franko Fraize.
Jack is engaged to Fiona Joy South[6] (Born June 1995), who has appeared on both his Youtube channel and podcast. Jack engaged to Fiona by means of a calendar, a running joke on his channel due to the Zoella controversy.

Jack stated his channel ‘JaackMaate’ on October 5, 2008, with his first video being ‘10 Types of People EVERYBODY Hates’.
Notable videos include Meet the YouTuber That Has S-X with Her Dogs’ which currently has over 12 million views and ‘Zoellas £50 Calendar, Brutal Review’ which currently has over 5.8m views. In this video Jack rips into Zoellas (Zoe Sugg) calendar that was sold for the price of £50. Zoella rejected this personal criticism stating; that she was not responsible for the pricing of the product. Leading UK retailer Boots reduced the price of the calendar within weeks of the calendar going on sale.
In 2012 Jack was due to appear on the UK TV program Big Brother but instead took part in a test series prior to the actual series being filmed.[7]
In 2013 Jack appeared on BBC Three TV show: Hotel of Mum and Dad.[8]
According to IMBD Jack has appeared in two movies Brotherhood and Twist.[9]
In 2019 Jack reached 1 million subscribers on Youtube[10], which he described as his life long dream.

In May 2020 Jack convinced love island stars to promote his fake brand of make up.[12]
Throughout 2020 and 2021 Jack hosted a football chat show The Social by BrewCity and has sat along top footballers such as Chris Kamara[13]
In 2021 Jack hid tickets around the UK with the combined prize pool off £10,000.[14]
As of July 2021 Jacks YouTube channel JaackMaate currently has over 1.4million subscribers and 167million views.[15]
